We'll start at the parking lot of the now-closed Frisch's at the Ward's Corner exit of I-275.
Lunch will be at Miller's Furniture, Bulk Foods, Bakery in Wheat Ridge.
If you can only join us for the morning, we'll give you directions from Miller's to SR 32 and back to I-275.
The last bridge is just off US 68 south of Mt. Orab.  Again, when we cross SR 32, you may go west and back to I-275.  Or we can all stop at Butterbee's for supper!

Queen City Cooper Events / March 29 QCC Motor-In
« Last post by Dale Ballinger about February 01, 2025, 09:52:19 AM »

Hello QCC, In an effort to get our attendance off the ground, how about joining some of us at the Tri-State Warbird Museum on 4021 Borman Drive in Batavia, OH 45103 at noon or 12:30 on Saturday, March 29 before the 2:00 PM Motor-In at Grammas Pizza three miles away?  Admission is usually $12 for adults with $5 off for veterans and students.  We can get a special group rate of $10/person if you mention QCC.  Their web site is http://www.tri-statewarbirdmuseum.org and they have about a dozen aircraft, some vehicles, and many displays from the Air Force to check out. It takes about 90 minutes to see everything.

At 2:00 PM we will meet at Grammas at 154 East Main Street in Batavia OH 45103 and have the Motor-In about 2:30 after we order our food and drinks.  Everything they make is delicious, and fresh.  This is absolutely the best pizza in Clermont County. The gyros, are authentic Greek, and the homemade Greek salad dressing is perfect...Deep dish pepperoni, extra cheese, and anchovies is the greatest meal around.. Wonderful desserts too....Cozy eatery dishing up pizzas, hoagies, gyros, and other familiar fare plus beer and wine.

So go to the QCC web site and register. Make your own plans to arrive at either place on time with your GPS system, ok? If you want to use back roads to get there, go for it!  Route 222 is a fun and curvy road. Hope to see ya, down the road.  Dale

Hello QCC members,

I hope you have dug out from the snow and are ready for more cold weather.  We are having our first Motor-In of 2025 on Saturday, February 1 at Cincy Mini.  This is our annual planning session.  We will have a brief e-board meeting at 2:00 PM followed by a pizza party at 2:10, and then social time. Bring your own drinks, please to make it easier for all.  I may test your brain with a short trivia contest at 2:50.   Wear your name tag or come by and order one if you need to.  Karen redesigned them last year and you can even pick out your colors.

At 3:00 we will start the Motor-In with some planning for an exciting 2025 driving year as the main topic.  We are in desperate need of a new Event Coordinator. Look in the mirror and if you see yourself with ideas and are willing to HELP lead us forward, now is the time for you to come to the aid of the QCC.

The past several years we have struggled by with various volunteers arranging drives. Sometimes we give them a $25 gas gift card for their efforts.  The real thanks is in knowing as one of the volunteers, you got the wheels rolling.  If six members do one drive, or three do a couple trips, then we are covered.  Envision, plan, pre-drive, promote, lead, and write it up!  We have radios and can follow you anywhere.   Any questions just ask.  Hope to see you at 6131 Stewart Road #2, Cincinnati, OH 45227  at 2:00 PM 2/1/25.
Thanks, President Dale

PS: Please register on the web site so we know how much pizza to order.  I will also send an email to you and you can reply back to me. So let us know either way if you can attend.  This year we want to infuse some excitement into the club. If you have trouble with the web site, text me if you want to attend 859-818-4785.

Likely to see many beautiful autumn trees in various colors, too.  Seven Mile Winery is a family-owned winery in the heart of Butler County, Ohio. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful 2,500 square foot rustic barn as the perfect venue to enjoy our growing selection of wine varieties.

Join us for a fall drive through some back roads of Butler County to visit a local winery. We will meet up at the parking lot of MidPointe Library West Chester, located at 9363 Centre Point Drive West Chester, OH 45069 at 2:15 p.m.  After a short drivers meeting, we will depart the parking at 2:30 p.m. We will be visiting Seven Mile Winery, located at 3526 Somerville Jacksonburg Road Middletown, OH 45042.  If you’d like to learn more about this winery, visit their website: https://sevenmilewinery.com/

Please register for this event on the QCC website. Hope you can join us for an afternoon of fun.  Mary and Matt Hopton are hosting it. We are inviting the Cincy Miata Club, too.          Thanks, President Dale
